1. Our Commitment
At Africore Tech Kenya, we are committed to ensuring you are fully satisfied with your purchase. This policy is governed by the Kenya Consumer Protection Act No. 46 of 2012, which entitles you to a repair, replacement, or refund where goods are defective, not fit for purpose, or materially different from their description.
2. Return Window

Under the Consumer Protection Act, you may also raise a complaint regarding a defective product within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, or within the manufacturer's warranty period for repair or replacement.
3. Conditions for Return
- Be in original condition, unused and uninstalled
- Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals and seals intact
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
4. What We Cannot Accept
- Items damaged due to misuse, physical damage, water damage or unauthorised modification after delivery
- Opened software licences, antivirus keys or digital products (once activated, these cannot be returned)
- Consumables such as ink cartridges and toner that have been opened or used
- Items returned beyond the stated return window without prior written agreement
5. Warranty
- Laptops & Desktops: 1 year (manufacturer warranty)
- Printers: 1 year (manufacturer warranty)
- Networking Equipment: 1 year (manufacturer warranty)
- Accessories & Peripherals: 3–6 months (as specified)
Warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware failure under normal use. It does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or damage caused by power surges. For warranty claims, Africore Tech will act as your liaison with the manufacturer or authorised service centre.
6. How to Initiate a Return or Warranty Claim
- Contact us via WhatsApp on 0703 961 936 within the applicable window
- Provide your order number and a clear photo or video of the issue
- Our team will respond within 24 hours with return instructions
- Ship or bring the item to our Nairobi CBD location (we will advise on delivery arrangements)
7. Refunds
- Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method (M-Pesa, bank transfer, or card)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
8. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with the outcome, you may escalate to:
- Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK): www.cak.go.ke
- Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS)
This policy does not limit your statutory rights under the Kenya Consumer Protection Act No. 46 of 2012.
